SCJ believes that God has given hidden secrets to His chosen people, and it will be given only through his messenger--the shepherd of today (Man Hee Lee).
Why hidden things?
- "I will open my mouth with a parable; I will utter hidden things, things from of old—" (psalms 78:2)
SCJ belief:
God has hidden things so that he could hide it from the enemy, Satan
God has hidden things so that he can give the right knowledge/ truth/ treasure to His people, whom He can trust.
Matthew 13:10-15
" the knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them.
… In them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah: … ( Isa 6:9-13)
God purposefully hardened their hearts and not give the truth to them?
Right before the disciples ask Jesus why he uses parables, Jesus says this.
"Whoever has ears, let them hear" (Matthew 13:9). Parables were given to everyone who has ears essentially.
Isaiah 6:9-13
Who was it that made them not hear? It was the people, themselves. "For this people's heart has become calloused" (Matthew 13:15)
They COULD hear but did not hear nor see (:15)
It is true that Jesus explained the parables to his disciples not everyone (Mark 4:34)
Those explanations were not given to others
But the disciples were the ones who asked for the explanation (Matthew 13:36)
And not all the parables were explained to the disciples too.
Also some meanings were hidden even to the disciples.
Meaning of Jesus' death was hidden. (Luke 18:34) They would not be able to understand it and it was too much for them to handle
God has timing for people to understand things and would give each amount that they can handle.
So the parables were hidden to the Pharisees for the same reason; they could not accept it and it was too much for them to bear.
So then, what are the parables about?
It was essentially about Jesus… the son who sows the seeds. (Matt 13:37)
Pharisees couldn't accept this fact and it was too much for them to bear. They looked for someone else to be the Messiah.
It was not the right timing for them yet, or it would just arouse anger and rage in them. There was to be another time for them to know--when Jesus died, they were to see all before their eyes.
It was the Pharisees whom Jesus called as blind men. (Matthew 23:26) (Isa 6:9-13)
So it is true that the "explanation" of the parables were for the disciples not everyone. But it doesn't mean that God only showed the "truth" to the disciples only.
First of all, knowing the explanation of those particular parables did not mean "salvation"
Because there were others who did not know this and yet received salvation by Jesus
It was not God who intentionally hardened some people and not to others.
The parables were about Jesus.
All had eyes to see Jesus and hear Jesus, but still chose not to believe in him. It was not that God made them not see. They did not see it.
Jesus came to make blind see. Not to make people blind (Luke 4:16-19, 18) (John 9:39)
God wants the salvation for ALL (1 Tim 2:3-4)
The promise is for all (Acts 2:39) (Psalm 19:3)
What are the secrets that have been hidden?
Christ (Rom 16:25-26) (Col 1:26-27, 2:2-3)
It was Jesus whom the Pharisees saw but couldn't really see as the son of God. They saw but didn't really see. They heard but didn't really hear…. (Matthew 13:17)
Parables were parables to them, because they couldn't really understand the meaning of the parables, which all pointed to Jesus.
Therefore it is true that Jesus spoke in parables so that those who are on his side will understand the parables, not others. But he did not purposefully chose whom to share the truth with. The truth was actually given to all--he was shown to all people. Those with stubborn hearts will, however, choose not to see Jesus as Christ and follow him. In Matthew13, Jesus did not bluntly reveal himself as the savior to everyone yet and arouse unnecessary conflicts and rage. But he did eventually to all of them--the truth of Christ was shown on the cross.
SCJ teaches that we need to know the meaning of parables through the promised pastor, and there we receive heaven and salvation. There we become the chosen people who would learn the knowledge of such. However, the parables were all about Jesus not about some special truth that had to be learned through a seminar for many months.
Jesus was the hidden secret revealed to all now. All point to Jesus not another promised man…
Col 1:26-27
"the mystery that has been kept hidden for ages a
nd generations, but is now disclosed to the Lord’s people. To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory."

Thank you so much for your work, I am studying with them and only found out they are SCJ yesterday, I felt something was off for a little while now.
Do you have any resources on their teaching in revelation ?
